Skimmer back online…

My SoftRock SDR on 20m is back online hooked up to CW Skimmer on the Reverse Beacon Network. It was fun to see the number of “spots” generated on the WPX CW contest last weekend. I had some trouble with practically no image rejection on the SDR, but then figured that the balance on the input line was awry. Brought it back to the middle and automatic IQ balance began to work again.

I use QuickMix to switch between sound card profiles and usually use a “full-left” balance for the input while operating on AFSK. It seems this setting was not getting changed when I moved between the SDR and AFSK settings.
